There was so much of bloodshed, so much of violence, the last time we witnessed it in ‘Animal’, and that was not as much. A film to be released is titled “Kill”. We had discussed the teaser earlier, but now an expanded, red-band trailer is here. Well, in what way and to what extent, may be, we can anticipate it? Okay, time to discuss this trailer.

Cast of Kill Movie
Lakshya: Apparently, for his past work in Bollywood, Lakshya gets to portray one of the principal characters in the film. People are expecting much from his performance in “Kill,” especially because of the extended fight scenes.
Raghav Juyal: Another interesting character of the movie is Raghav. He’s an all-round actor/ performer who can act as well as dance like nobody’s business. What his role in “Kill” will hopefully bring is an entirely different facet of what he can do.
These are the main actors most evidently seen in the movie and in its trailers. Some of the other cast members may be in the supporting roles and further particulars could be disclosed at a later date or perhaps in other announcements and in ‘depth press directories and movie encyclopedias’.
Release date of Kill
This movie is scheduled to release in the theaters on 5th July and the duration of the movie too falls in between two hours. Thus, the movie will be at a fast pace, this can be vouched for by its duration alone. Critically acclaimed it got a 100% raw score on the rotten tomatoes site from the first weeks of its release. Brother, this figure can reach the highest of any Bollywood movie; therefore, I will wait for this movie.
Story Of Kill Movie
‘Kill’ is a hard-boiled action film, with minimal room for deviation over the course of a tense train ride. The story is based on a lone hero and Lakshya stepped into this role where he is trapped into a gun battle with 40 brutal dacoits. These outlaws have now taken over the train and they have also converted it to a battleground. The plot is based on the director Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt’s real-life encounter with train rampage massacre and is packed with nastiness of the night and thrilling actions all unending.
Everyone who reads knows that a train has very long and very narrow corridors and confined compartments; every step that the protagonist takes is potentially lethal. It is psychological too for he has to deal with his terror and exhaustion added to his desire to outsmart and overpower the vengeful bandits. The action choreography is very fast-paced and unrelenting and the fights are some of the most intense I have seen in a while and, while they bear more than a superficial similarity to the Bourne series and follow-on movies like ‘John Wick’, there’s an intrinsic Indian cinema element to these scenes too.
The essence of the hero is clearly seen when she is struggling – the protagonist’s strength to persevere and fight is always well depicted. His will to survive and safeguard the passengers that are civilians majority of the time work against explicit odds. Other themes represented and depicted in the movie are the notion of courage, the spirit of uprising against the oppression, and will of the human being to stand as an individual even in face of odds.

Is “Kill” the Most Violent Bollywood Movie Ever?
This is what the makers of the movie have done in the trailer; and this is why it comes with the tag ‘Indias most violent and goriest film’. You never really get an idea of it until you see the trailor. It also contains Raghav’s dialogue that ‘Aise kaun marta hai ba’. As it demonstrated in the trailer, if the fight sequence is even more dangerous than that, you can watch the entire film in the theatre.
What’s Unique About the Story of “Kill”?
It is rightly called the most violent without there being any twist of facts. The plot of the story is based on the real-life experience of the director. Bhatt, the director of Kilichund’s train attack scene has himself been attacked in a similar manner where the director has brought his conception in to realisation. In the story, it revealed that the hero is all set to take on 40 dacoits on his own. Brother, 40.
Review of Kill Movie
‘Kill’ is an edge-of-the-seat, intense action thriller that forms a new addition to the Bollywood’s action thriller space . Dullo flanked by 40 menacing dacoits or thieves, all played brilliantly by approaching the film as an action, thriller and choreographing every single scene and movement on wheels directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt, is a revelation in the film as the only hero who has to fight off the dacoits singlehandedly on a moving train. The core action is fight scenes which are visceral and choreographed to perfection, reminding one of the ‘John Wick’ franchise, but still very Bollywood.
The encircling environments make it possible to establish an elemental and tense atmosphere to represent every confrontation as dangerous and close-quartered. However, there is more to ‘Kill’ than just the firepower; this movie has an engaging plot of human strength which draws its plot from real life incidents. What is great about the film is that it clocks in at just under two hours, thus, the pacing of the movie is excellent, never once, dragging. Predictably, some of the first reactions, including a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, are settling the notion that “Kill” is not only a film but an experience that adrenaline junkies and everyone into thrillers should not waste their time on.
My Opinion
In my view, “Kill” is one of the first of its kind in the Bollywood action films category. There is no dull moment, no slow motion in the movie and consequently, it did not lead me to boredom at all because it was intense throughout. Lakshya was superb in essaying a role of a lone hero and was equally convincing in action and emoting.
This is apparent in the action sequences which were shot and staged to perfection, and with proper doses of Indianised violence to match Hollywood action films at their best. The fact that Director Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt himself is a street kid gave an incredible reality to the movie and really tugged at the heartstrings; the stakes felt real.
The enclosed environment of the train contributed in making the movie more tense thereby making a thrilling movie. Length of the movie was appropriate and at no point felt like there was any unnecessary fluff to be trimmed from the movie. In its entirety, ‘Kill’ is a film not to be missed for any action and drama enthusiast and marks a new high in terms of violence and energy that Indian cinema can stage.
